Hailing from the greater Philadelphia area, the James Dean Band lights up the stage with their electric blues and blues-rock sound. Their sizzling shows have been captivating audiences from small intimate venues to large stage performances. Shows are punctuated with lively jams featuring stunning performances from all band members. Fans will recognize favorite pieces from Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Albert King, BB King, ZZ Top and other blues/rock giants, as well as funk songs from Stevie Wonder and the Meters, to name just a few.
The JDB is fronted by lead guitar virtuoso and lead vocalist James Dean (JD) Spalding, for whom the band is named. His mesmerizing complex solos dazzle fans and those new to the band's performances often leave with a new-found awe of his guitar skills and artistry.
